What should I do about sensitive teeth?

Well, I tired the Colgate sensitive teeth toothpaste (the red one) it seems to be making it worse (or maybe its just me)... I cant enjoy ice cream anymore, or even cold yogurt (it hurts really bad).





Any ideas? What works for you sensitive teeth people out there?

use sensodyne tooth paste, start taking vit C (500mg)and eating more fruit, gargle with salt water a couple times a day...do not use mouthwash, floss your teeth twice daily, increase you milk intake...

Reply:Try using Sensodyne toothpaste. It's very mild and it should help take care of your sensitivity when eating cold/hot foods.
Reply:try sensodyne or you can go to your dentist and have something like a coating or varnish for teeth. they have those for teeth that are prone to stains it might work for sensitive teeth.

Reply:I have senstive teeth and i can't bite into ice cream and sensadine DOESN'T WORK nor does any toothpaste that u can get in a shelf so i went and ask my dentist to give me somin and he did and it is better than any other thing on a shelf!!!!!!! It took a couple of dayz for me to get use to it but i think u should go to ur dentist!!!!!!!
