How can I get rid of sensitive teeth?

My teeth are extremely sensitive to anything that is too cold. Is there a way that I can get rid of this? It's really annoying that I can't eat anything or drink anything that is too cold.

How can I get rid of sensitive teeth?
You may have an Exposed Nerve on one of your teeth, or maybe your enamel is not as strong as it could be.

Try using eathier Sensodine or Enamel Strenghtening Toothpaste.. You can even mix them together each time you brush by by putting half %26amp; half.

Also if you're a big OrangeJuice drinker that may be the reason. It's loaded with acid which wears away at the enamel- Try buying LOW ACID.

**TIP: enamel wears away by decay which is usually from not brusing [long] enough. AS much as you can try brushing your teeth after EACH meal. It seems like a hassel but teeth are meant to be kept for your whole life %26amp; just by doing this can save you the trouble in the future..

i dont mean to get all dr.phil on you but also

**DONT BRUSH TOO HARD. %26amp; use a soft bristle toothbrush.=]] lol
Reply:Use a chisel and a hammer.
Reply:Try some sensitive teeth toothpaste.

Reply:Pliers
Reply:SENSODiNE

Reply:There are some types of toothpaste that are made to help tooth sensitivity, like Sensodyne~other than that, you may want to ask your dentist if there is anything he could recommend as far as a reason for the pain. GOOD LUCK
Reply:Have you discussed this with your dentist? Two common causes of sensitive teeth are receding gums and cavities, both of which can be treated. Get a checkup.
Reply:Teeth become sensitive for a reason. You can use a soft brush with a sensitive toothpaste, but that's only treating the symptom. There has to be a cause. If you discover it, you can treat it, or make the problem go away. Do you whiten your teeth? Are your gums receding? Brush too hard?

Until then, try using a straw when drinking, along with the special paste %26amp; soft brushing. I use Crest Whitestrips, and for the first month, I only drink with a straw. A pain, but I like hot tea- which discolors.
