My dentist recommended it for a sensitive tooth but it's been a month and it didn't help much. Has anyone tried the new crest pro-health night? It's suppose to help sensitive teeth too? If not--any ideas on something better? Thx!
Does anyone not like sensodyne for sensitive teeth?
All sensitive toothpastes are the same, so you can use any one that you like. The key is not to rinse all the toothpaste off. Most people rinse after they brush their teeth, but that rinses all of the sensitivity ingredient off that is in the toothpaste. You need to at lest 1 time a day brush, spit, DO NOT rinse/eat/drink for at least 30 minutes (no water or mouthwash, nothing). If you really feel the toothpaste does not help after doing this, try a fluoride rinse or brush on fluoride gel. They can both be found at the store, but you have to ask for the gel at the pharmacy counter. You either swish the rinse and spit or brush on the gel and spit, DO NOT rinse/eat/drink for 30 minutes. Also, be sure to use either a soft or extra soft toothbrush with GENTLE circles. NO scrubbing the crap out of your teeth.
