I heve sensitive teeth and I wnat to whiten them but I heard that bleaching will make them more sensitive .
Is there any whitening strips or techniques for sensitive teeth??
Yes bleaching will make your teeth more sensitive, however, we recommend that everyone use a desensitizing toothpaste such as Sensodyne for at least 2 weeks prior to the whitening procedure and continue with it during and after whitening until your teeth are comfortable. You can also use a fluoride rinse but try to find one that isn't too highly coloured if you plan to use it while you are whitening - it would be very disappointing if during the whitening process when the cells are open that you turn them slightly blue from the mouthwash!
One technique that the very sensitive use is to limit the time the solution is on their teeth to 30 minutes to 1 hour and extend the frequency from daily to every 2nd or 3rd day. The strength of the solution may also have some bearing on how sensitive you become.
Doing whitening under the guidance of your dentist means that if the sensitivity issue is a problem then the dentist is responsible for finding a solution!
Reply:i also have sensitive teeth but for me whitening my teeth is not a problem since i have been using an effective and safe teeth whitener like Maximum Teeth Whitening. this has professional white teeth ingredients that does not cause teeth to become sensitive. this is one thing to smile about.
